Pork SA will hold its Annual Pig Industry Day, AGM and Award Dinner on 23 February 2018 at the Barossa Weintal, 235 Murray Street, Tanunda.
The Industry Day is supported by the SA Pig Industry Fund, Industry Partners, APL and SARDI and will be a collaborative effort featuring major technical and policy updates from APL and the Pork CRC.
The event will follow the format used for recent successful meetings at this time and venue, including seminars, a trade display, a happy hour and an industry dinner, at which the 2018 recipient of the Ronald J Lienert Memorial Scholarship will be announced and presented.
The 2018 seminar program will feature ‘Solutions for Challenging Times’, drivers of cost of production, Australian benchmarking data being achieved, calculating cost of production accurately, energy option and cost, feed wastage and skill/capability development options and needs.
The day will commence at 10am with morning tea available in the trade display. The seminar program will run from 11am – 4pm, with an hour for lunch to allow for networking with Industry Partners. To view the program click here.
